Kimberly Bartosik is a choreographer, teacher, and writer whose work has been commissioned by BAM Next Wave, New York Live Arts, Lumberyard, Abrons, Danspace, FIAF’s Crossing the Line, Rencontres Choreographiques Internationales, The Kitchen, among others. Recent awards include a Guggenheim Fellowship; Toulmin Women Leaders in Dance Fellowship at Center for Ballet & the Arts; MAP Fund; National Dance Project; FUSED (French-US Exchange in Dance); USAI; Foundation for Contemporary Arts, Grants to Artists and Emergency Grants. Kimberly is a 2020 Bessie Award Honoree for Outstanding Production. She received a Bessie Award for Exceptional Artistry for her dancing in Merce Cunningham’s work.
