Jacqueline Calle Hernández grew up in Queens, New York and received her BFA from The Conservatory of Dance at SUNY Purchase in 2017. She joined The Box Artist Group and The Metropolitan Opera in New York City (2016-2018) and later joined Natalia Osipova's, "ISADORA'' Russian tour, and Arthur Pita's production of "The Tenant '' (2018-2019). As a performer and educator, Jacqueline has had the honor of working with The Henny Juriëns Foundation (Amsterdam), Cie Marchepied (Lausanne), Share (Berlin), and The American Center for Art and Culture (Paris). She has performed works by Bill T. Jones, Merce Cunningham, Jose Limon, Kim Brandstrup, Vladimir Varnava, Alexandra Beller, Rachel Thorne Germond, Guanglei Hui, and Belinda McGuire among others. Recently, Jacqueline became a trainee with The Mindleaps Program in Kigali, Rwanda and serves on faculty at SCGSAH.
